Introduction. Task. Process. Presentation. Evaluation. Conclusion. Teacher Page. Dear children! We have won tours to 3 countries - England, the USA and Australia !!! The task of each group is to highlight and show the uniqueness of a certain country so that later everyone can choose the country for the further travel! It is necessary to show all the best in the country, and using the necessary information to tell your classmates about the history, culture and unusual realities. The results of the work can be presented in the form of a collage, a booklet or a Google presentation. And we are going to find it out!

TASK IGROUP 1: England ( Liverpool)GROUP 2: The USA ( Los-Angeles)GROUP 3: Australia ( Melbourne)In order to create your collage, brochure or presentation you need to create 3 groups which will tell other Students about a country. Each group will “go” to a chosen country.

TASK IIStudents divide themselves into groups of five. Each group will do the following tasks: It is necessary to show all the best in the country, and using the necessary information to tell classmates about the history, culture and unusual realities. Study some special information which is given to your group Find pictures and photos of the country online using the links given and write down facts about your country. The results of the work can be presented in the form of a collage, a booklet or a Google presentation. When it is ready students will present the uniqueness of the country showing advantages and inviting us to visit it

Presentation. Discuss the issues that you have learned from the web-sites with your groupmates. Sum up your ideas about the most attractive things about your country that you have studied and create a booklet, a collage or a Google-presentation “You should definitely visit this country!!!”, which will include some intriguing information about the country. Give a presentation to other groups for them to learn about this issue.

This will give them not only knowledge about English –speaking countries but also a strong wish to learn English . This this Web Quest teaches students practical and theoretical things at the same time.

Learners. This Quest is primarily designed for students of 9th -10th grade of secondary ( high) school. However its adaptations can be used by any learner who seeks for knowledge about communicating and travelling. While working on this Web Quest students will learn:how to use internet sources meaningfully;communicating problems;solutions to the problems;how to cooperate with others;how to present newly learnt information.

Teacher Process. You may want to discuss and preview vocabulary words that you think students may not know or not be familiar with;Tell the students to create 3 groups;Discuss beforehand the rules of collaborative work and assigned tasks for each group;Adjust time as necessary to allow all students to complete the presentation.

Resources. You will need the following things to complete this Quest successfully:1. Computer with internet connection for every group as a minimum;2. Printer to print the information if necessary;3. Access to any other relevant source of information (books, audio and video materials).
